For our Cine to DVD conversion service we charge a set up fee which includes a DVD, Case and return postage via Royal Mail special delivery.  The included DVD can store approximately 90 minutes of Cine thus allowing for about 22x4 minute 50 feet reels of Cine film on one disc.  Chapter markers for the DVD will be created at the beginning of each 4 minute length of film.  If required easy listening music can be added to the DVD.  To calculate costs just add the setup fee to the number of reels of cine film to be converted.  Please note extra Cine film cannot be added to the DVD at a later date - it all needs to be converted together.

8mm Camcorder Video Cassettes

Each converted 8mm cassette is presented on DVD complete with case. Chapter markers for the DVD will be created at regular intervals throughout the DVD.  Please note DVD’s can store 90 minutes at high quality therefore if the 8mm cassettes equate to over 90 minutes then it will be divided between 2 DVD’s at no extra charge.

Hi 8 Camcorder Video Cassettes

Each converted Hi 8 cassette is presented on DVD complete with case. Chapter markers for the DVD will be created at regular intervals throughout the DVD.  Please note DVD’s can store 90 minutes at high quality therefore if the Hi 8 cassettes equate to over 90 minutes then it will be divided between 2 DVD’s at no extra charge.

Mini DV Camcorder Cassettes

Each converted Mini DV cassette is presented on DVD complete with case. Chapter markers for the DVD will be created at regular intervals throughout the DVD.  Please note DVD’s can store 90 minutes at high quality therefore if the Mini DV cassettes equate to over 90 minutes then it will be divided between 2 DVD’s at no extra charge.

Custom DVD Menu

& Chapter Markers

As part of our standard conversion service chapter markers are placed a regular intervals throughout the finished DVD allowing for easier location of particular parts of the video.   However for an extra £10.00 we can provide chapter markers at points specified by you with each marker accessible from the main DVD menu.  This can be achieved by rewinding your cassette back to the start and resetting the tape counter to zero.  From this point you can play your cassette through making a note of the tape counter at each point you would like a chapter marker with a small description of each piece of footage used for the DVD menu.  Once finished just include the list with your cassette to be converted.

Cine & Video Conversion Procedure

To have your Cine or Video Cassettes converted to DVD just calculate the cost from the above tables.  Make sure they are well packed preferably in a padded bag.  We would recommend you use Royal Mail special delivery. Send them to us along with a cheque payable to 'Bunce Video' to the address shown plus your contact details name, address, phone number and email.  If you have any information regarding your conversions which may be of use to us please include with the Cine or Video Cassette.  If you have any special requirements or questions please feel free to call or email.  We aim to return all conversions within 2 weeks along with your receipt.
